The First Semester Ends in a Unique Way!!
The students of Makassed College for Girls finished the first semester of the academic year with a big celebration on Thursday, December 22nd, 2011.Students, teachers and staff member all participated in this magnificent event. The students of each grade involved themselves in the celebration in their own unique way. They represented different themes and conveyed them through a matching choice of food and fashion. The students also exhibited some chosen dances. The dance of the graduating class of 2012 was especially original, in its reflection of the upcoming graduation. For the whole duration of this event, the school turned into an area of great color and festivities.
قراءات من الشعر الوجداني
يوم الخميس 21 كانون الأوّل كان عندنا في الكلّية لقاء ممتع. طالبات الصف الثامن تبارزن في الإلقاء الشعري مع طلاّب الصف الثامن في كلية علي بن أبي طالب. قراءات من الشعر الوجداني أثارت حماس الحاضرين، وأضفت حالة من التسلية الراقية. كان الجوّ مرحاً.
حضر هذا اللقاء الشعري رئيس جمعية المقاصد المهندس الأستاذ أمين محمد الداعوق والمشرف على إدارة الشؤون التربوية الأستاذ محمد المشنوق ومديرة كلية علي بن أبي طالب السيدة غنى بدوي ومسؤول الحلقة فيها ولفيف من أساتذتها. ولجنة الحكم المؤلّفة من الأستاذ بسام شاهين والسيدة دنيا كريم.
بدأ اللقاء بنشيد المقاصد من إلقاء الأستاذ بسّام شاهين. ثم تناوب تلامذة الكليتين على إلقاء الشعر الوطني والوجداني والقصصي... جو الشعر أثار في الأستاذ محمد المشنوق الرغبة في تذكّر مقاطع شعرية قرأها علينا قال إنها ما زالت عالقة في ذاكرته، حازت على إعجاب و تصفيق الحاضرين .
أشادت لجنة الحكم بمهارة الطلاب في الأداء والالقاء. كان لقاء ممتعاً. وقد أشرف على هذا العمل معلمة اللغة العربية في الثانويتين السيدة ايمان الصاحب.

حوادث السير والوقاية منها.
قدّم شرحاً
مفصلاً عن واقع السير في لبنان وإحصاءات عامة، بالإضافة إلى إرشادات لتلافي
الحوادث وكيفية الوقاية منها وأهمية استخدام حزام الأمان في جميع مقاعد
السيارة، الخوذة الواقية على الدراجات النارية بالإضافة إلى مخاطر السرعة
والكحول والتعب والأرهاق واستعمال الهاتف الخليوي أثناء القيادة.
كما
شدد على ضرورة التقيد بقانون السير للحفاظ على السلامة، وأهمية الخضوع
للإمتحان للحصول على رخصة القيادة، شارحاً عن العقوبات الجديدة في قانون
السير المقترح. تلا ذلك توزيع العديد من نشرات ومنشورات اليازا.
انتخاب لجنة جديدة للأهل
يوم الاثنين 19كانون الأوّل تمّ في الكلّية انتخاب لجنة الأهل بحضور ممثّل وزارة التربية. تألّفت اللجنة السيّد وليد الرفاعي رئيساً والسيدات : السيدة آمنة محسن نائبة الرئيس -أمينة السر : السيدة رانية بعاصيري - اللجنة المالية : السيدة هند مورللي والسيدة جمانة فواز
بعد انتهاء عمليّة الانتخاب اجتمعت الإدارة بالأعضاء الجدد تمنّت لهم التوفيق وطلبت منهم مساهمة فاعلة في كلّ ما يؤدّي إلى دعم المدرسة تطويرها والتعريف بطاقاتها.
مبروك وإلى عام حافل بالنشاط والتوفيق.

The purpose of teaching dance classes to the students is giving them their own free space, which lets them unleash their inner selves, bringing self - confidence and trust to their minds and souls as well as flexibility to their bodies; moreover, these classes give them the chance to work in a group and strengthen their friendships.

Pottery has existed since ancient times in various forms, but it assumes a different character in different time periods.
Today, in Grades 7 and 10, we use colors and ready-designed paper napkins to decorate pottery.
Reducing an Area
REDUCING AN AREA
When the ratio of the sides of triangle is 3; 4:5,it is a right triangle. The one is made with twelve sticks .Lets say that the area of a square surrounded by four sticks is one unit .The area of this right triangle is six square units,(Remember that the area of the triangle is founded by multiplying one half of the base by the height . here are three tasks.
1- Change the position of sticks and make the area five units.
2- Move two more sticks and reduce the area to four units.
3- Move two more sticks and reduce the area three units.

will put you in the jive

ends with zero or five
Then you've got it cooled _
you're awake and alive
As this little number
is divisable by five
And so young friends
by now you should know
