دعوة للعطاء والمحبة والتواصل مع المسنين

قال رسول الله عليه الصلاة والسلام : "..... من كان في حاجة أخيه كان الله في حاجته ومن فرّج عن مسلم كربة فرّج الله عنه كربة من كرب يوم القيامة......" رواه البخاري.

عملاً بهذا الحديث النبوي قامت طالبات الصف الحادي عشر في كلية البنات بزيارة الى "دار العجزة اللإسلامية" خلال شهر حزيران 2012، حيث استمعت الى محاضرة عن نشاطات الدار وعن الاعمال والمهام التي تتكفل بها لدار العجزة.

ثم أمضت الطالبات وقت ممتعا برفقة الرعايا "العجزة"، إستمعن اليهن وتبادلن الأحاديث ثم وزّعن الحلوى عليهنّ وقدّمن لكلّ نزيلة في الدّار هديّة رمزيّة رغبة في المواساة وعربون محبة.

زيارة للشاطئ اللبناني

ضمن النشاطات المنهجية واللامنهجية للصفين الاول والثاني ثانوي، قامت كلية المقاصد للبنات بزيارة للشاطئ اللبناني الممتد من عين المريسة الى صخرة الروشة بطول اثنين كلم تقريبا. وكانت الرحلة بواسطة مراكب بحرية انطلاقا من المرسى القديم الى صخرة الروشة وقد تم مشاهدة الجروف البحرية والصخور الكلسية وعملية النحت الكيميائي والفيزيائي للصخور. والاطلاع على انواع طبقات الصخور منذ العهد السنمنياني الثالث. ودخول مغارة كهف الحمام.

كتابة قصة

        وفق منهج محور القصًة في مادًة اللغة العربيًة في صف السابع الأساسي، طبًقت التلميذات ما تعلًمته من "بنية القصًة " وقامت بعضهنَ بكتابة قصًة ثم عُرضت هذه القصص على بعض ابتدائيات المقاصد منها : ابتدائيًة "أبو بكر الصًديق "، ابتدائيَة "خليل شهاب " وابتدائيَة "عمر ابن الخطاب " كان لهذا العمل أثر جيًد في نفوس التًلميذات.

Healthy Kids

  Grade 7 students left the school in the morning on May 2, 2012 and headed for KSPS in order to participate, support, and share in the Project "Healthy Kids". 

The girls enjoyed the activities on the playground, had a healthy breakfast, and handed over their handcrafts made in their art sessions to the students of grade 6. That morning left happy "healthy" moments in their life. 

Such frequently repeated expressions as "food is health", "who cares for his food cares for his health and life", "how much we eat, how we eat and what we eat" have become alive and proved to be a practical application at KSPS. 

The time spent there was only a great benefit and fun!

Watching Movies

The students of Grade 9 went to the cinema on Thursday, April 26^th,2012 to watch “Hunger Games”. They enjoyed watching the movie with their  teacher.

The students of the second and third secondary visited "The Rafik Hariri University Hospital" to observe in details the paternity test by using DNA finger printing technique in April 2012.

Poetry Recitation

 

Students from grades 11 and 10 made a brilliant display of their poetic ambitions in a poetry recitation competition that was part of the annual Jawdat Haydar Poetry Recital Competition to be held at the UNESCO Palace in late April. Thirteen students from Makassed College for girls and Ali Bin Abi Taleb College took part in this competition, where students took turns reciting selected poems of the late Lebanese poet Haydar. 



The English teachers at both schools were charged with the task of selecting a winner from each school to participate in the national contest. The selection was based on criteria that included voice and articulation, dramatic appropriateness and overall performance. All participants, however, received certificates of participation from the principal of Ali Bin Abi Taleb College where the competition was held.


The event was a good chance for students to gain a deeper appreciation of poetry through memorization and recitation. Such events help our youth to master public speaking skills, build self-confidence, and hopefully inspire them to develop personal relationships with great classic and contemporary poetry. 

الصف الثامن في النادي الثقافي

         

                       

   مرّة جديدة، وفي إطار تحبيب المطالعة وإقامة عَلاقة مع الكِتاب لبّى الصف الثامن دعوة النادي الثقافي العربي إلى لقاء مع الأديب عبدو وازن. هذا النشاط أردناه مشتركاً مع الصفّ ذاته في كلّيّة علي بن أبي طالب.

   استقبلتنا مديرة النادي السيدة نرمين الخنسا بلطفها المعهود، المناقشة مع الأديب كانت حول كتابه "الفتى الذي أبصر لون الهواء". علّقت التلميذات على القصّة، واستمع الأديب لمداخلات الفتيات ومعلّمتهنّ

في ختام اللقاء عبّر الأستاذ وازن عن تقديره للتعليقات الموضوعيّة والأفكار الصائبة التي تقدّمن بها وأكّد استمتاعه باللقاء ووعد أن يكون اللقاء القادم زيارة إلى كلّيّة البنات.

Watching Movies: The Way to Learn !

Watching movies is an incredible experience that takes you into a fictional world and teaches you all there is to know about life and human nature. In the English language classroom, this experience is be geared to serve the purpose of learning the language as well as living this immense experience.  For these reasons, the students of grade 12, along with their English teachers and physics teacher, went to the cinema to watch “The Grey”.

“The Grey” is a movie set in Alaska, when oil drilling team struggle to survive after a plane crash strands them in the wild. Hunting the humans is a pack of wolves that sees them as intruders. A great movie!

A Snowy Day

نحن نعرف أهمّيّة القراءة. نحن اصدقاء الكتاب

     تحت هذا العنوان تشارك كلية البنات في نشاطات النادي الثقافي العربي، آخرها كان اللقاء مع الأديبة "سلوى البنّا" يوم الإثنين 6/2 حول كتابها "حذاء صاحب السعادة".

     اللقاء كان لطيفاً، استقبلتنا رئيسة النادي السيدة "نرمين الخنسا" بحرارة. وعرّفتنا بالكاتبة التي حاورتنا بصراحة وصدق وعفويّة، ثمّ جاء دور الأسئلة فطرحنا ما أوحت به قراءتنا للقصّة، وأعطينا رأينا في بعض المواقف.

     الرئيس "الأستاذ أمين" فاجأنا بحضوره. تابع الندوة وكان مطّلعاً على نتاج الكاتبة. قدّم بعض الآراء.  أثنى على اهتمامنا ونشاطنا، وعبّر عن عاطفته نحو كلّيّتنا.

     هي تجربة لطيفة ومثقِّفة أن تتواصل مع كاتب مواجهة بعد أن تواصلنا معه على الورق.

Count Your Blessings

Upon visiting The Lebanese School for the Blind & Deaf, Rana Mzayyek from Grade Ten wrote the following: 

On behalf of my friends, I would like to thank our school for giving us the chance to see the world from a different perspective: the perspective of the blind and the deaf. At first, we felt sorry for those young children and teenagers, but as we moved around from one classroom to another, we were amazed by the students’ ability to manage their life and earn an education despite the enormous physical challenges they face. On the other hand, talking to them, we found that they are basically just like us, the "seeing and hearing" students. The visit was an enlightening experience and a reminder to us to count our blessings.

المتحف الوطني اللبناني ، عراقة يرويها التاريخ

طالبات صف السابع الأساسي في المتحف الوطني اللبناني يكتشفن القطع الأثرية التي قرأن عنها في كتبهن المدرسية. المتحف الوطني قيمة اساسية للتراث اللبناني لما يكتنزه من اثار تعود الى ما قبل التاريخ وموجودات نفيسة وقيّمة.

Career Fair

Blom Shabab organizied 2nd annual career fair on 11 November 2011 at UNESCO Beirut. Grade 12 Students attending all curricular branches and introduces them to various proffessions and they will have the chance to meet experts different fields. Careerfair allows pasticipating students  gain insight a sense of feel about different jobs from which they can choose their future career.

لمناسبة مرور 150 عاماً على تأسيس قوى الأمن الداخلي حضرت طالبات صف العاشر معرضاً تراثياً لقوى الأمن في قصر الأونيسكو بتاريخ 18 / 11 /2011.  

تضمن أشغالا يدوية للسجينات والسجناء المبدعين.

A Young Scientist Lies Inside Each of Us !

In November 15/2011, students of grades 7 and 8 visited the Science Village. They attended several clubs such as Physics. Biology, Nutrition clubs. The presenter of physics club divided the students into groups and they helped them in making several electrical projects.

The students enjoyed their time and they discovered that inside each of us there is young scientist!!!!!
